What is Rocket Draft
Rocket Draft is a free Rocket League esports roster builder. Each round deals one real historical RLCS lineup from 2016 to today, and you take a single card — a player, the coach, the substitute, or the organization — until you have three players, one coach, one sub, and one org. Then you build chemistry, collect special cards, and run an RLCS-style tournament. No account, no download — it plays in any browser, desktop or mobile.
Why it exists and who made it
Rocket Draft was created by LiberatoRL, a fan, as an unofficial passion project celebrating RLCS history, with the player overalls reviewed and balanced by GWR. It is non-commercial and free, with a Discord community and a buy-me-a-coffee support link for anyone who wants to help keep it running. Credit where it is due: the game is inspired by Rams' draftrlcs.app. It exists because RLCS history deserves a way to be replayed, not just remembered.
What makes it different
Two things set Rocket Draft apart. The first is Region-Locked Draft: South America (SAM) is live now, hand-researched from Liquipedia, covering Brazilian and South American teams — its World Championship rosters plus the regional Top 8 that never reached Worlds, with deeper benches and cult underdogs like yanxnz. More regions are coming. The second is transparent ratings: every overall is a calculated base plus a hand manual review, reviewed over time, and open to community pushback.

Rocket Draft is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with Psyonix, Epic Games, or any esports organization, and Rocket League is a trademark of its owners.
